The Raikage stood on the top of the steep cliff looking out at the glimmering village laying like a pearl in the middle of the ocean. The Village hidden in the Waves lay peaceful in the sea, its marble buildings glinting in the light of the setting sun. On the horizon, a thin grey row of clouds were slowly creeping its way towards the peaceful haven.
     A Juunin wearing a full black body suit, bearing the mark of the cloud shinobi, appeared next to the Raikage in a flash of chakra.
     "Is it done?" growled the Raikage.
     "Yes, but-"
     "then you know what you must do next. We cannot turn back now, too many events have been set in motion already."
     "Of course," obeyed the Juunin, with a stern look on his face. "So this is the village that-"
     "Yes. And remember, do not say anything in the open... the trees have ears." Rumbled the elderly shinobi. Suddenly, the Raikage ripped a chakra fuelled kunai from what appeared to be thin air. He then threw it with almost literal lightning fast speed at a nearby oak tree. In a puff of smoke the oak tree collapsed into a human shaped slump.
     "Pathetic," spat the Raikage." The ANBU team will let any low grade shinobi in nowadays. This one was just a scout and more will be along soon. I must not be seen near here or with you, understand?"
     "Of course. No-one shall know of this meeting. I have taken the oath."
     "Humph, really? It was not neccesary but it certainly makes things much more interesting. But ANBU? The Hokage must sense that a storm is approaching. he must not find out... yet."
     "I understand."
     "Well i must leave before any more of those annoying mask-weilding freaks show up. Dispose of this one as you see fit. When you have completed the next phase i shall contact you. Until then..." A bolt of lightning appereared from a cloudless sky and struck the ground where the Raikage stood.
     "Show-off," muttered the Juunin. "Oh well." He stared out at the shining Village hidden in the waves. A tear appeared at the corner of his eye and followed the deep scar running across from his ear to chin. He wiped it off and snarled at himself for showing weakness. He shook himslef off and walked over to the slumped body of the elite Anbu shinobi.
     "Such a waste." mumbled the Juunins arm.
     "Quiet, we took the Oath and we must now uphold it, whatever the cost. Understand?" barked the Junnin.
     "Yeh, yeh, whatever. Now lets get out of here and get on with the next phase. But first... RAMEN!"
     "Hah, okay then. I do suppose we deserve it." joked the Juunin.
     In a blur of hand seals and a flash of chakra, the Juunin and the dead ANBU under his arm dissappeared, leaving a small puddle of water where he stood.
     In the stillness of the wind, the oak tress on the top of the cliff shook gently. The shadows deepened and then... grew.
